**About the Role**
APC is hiring a Product Sales Account Executive to grow our materials\-only product sales division, with a major focus on wheel stops, car bumpers, truck bumpers, parking lot products, and precast materials. This is a hands\-on outside sales role for someone who knows how to develop contractor accounts, recover lost customers, follow up quotes aggressively, and build recurring product revenue.
This is not a passive inbound sales role. We need a producer who can call, visit, follow up, create opportunities, and close business with paving contractors, striping contractors, site\-work contractors, distributors, property managers, municipalities, schools, HOAs, developers, and general contractors.
**What You Will Own**
路 Recover, retain, and grow Products sales accounts.
路 Develop new accounts with paving, striping, site\-work, property management, municipal, school, HOA, and distributor customers.
路 Sell APC materials\-only precast products including parking lot products, wall materials, rail/fence/security products, and related precast materials.
路 Follow up every quote and maintain complete opportunity records in HubSpot.
路 Visit customers, jobsites, yards, and distributors weekly.
路 Coordinate with estimating, production, and logistics to provide accurate pricing, lead times, and delivery expectations.
路 Track competitor activity, pricing objections, freight issues, and customer feedback.
路 Report weekly sales activity, pipeline, reactivated accounts, closed revenue, and lost reasons to the Sales Manager.
**What We Are Looking For**
路 3\+ years of outside sales, territory sales, account executive, or business development experience.
路 Strong preference for construction materials, concrete/precast, asphalt, paving, striping, masonry, site products, building materials, or contractor\-facing sales experience.
路 Comfortable prospecting, cold calling, visiting customers, walking jobsites, and building account plans.
路 Ability to learn technical product details, pricing logic, delivery constraints, and customer use cases.
路 CRM discipline. HubSpot experience is preferred; similar CRM experience is acceptable.
路 Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally/regional as needed.
路 High accountability, strong follow\-through, and a competitive sales mindset.
**Preferred Experience**
路 Existing relationships with paving contractors, striping contractors, site\-work contractors, municipalities, schools, property managers, HOAs, or construction distributors.
路 Experience selling repeat\-order products or construction materials with both transactional and relationship\-based sales cycles.
路 Ability to read basic plans/specs or work with estimators on material quotes.
路 Proven history of recovering inactive accounts or rebuilding a neglected territory.
