**Responsibilities**
* Safely operate tractor\-trailers with manual transmissions across local and regional routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
* Load and unload dry and liquid commodities using hoses and pumps in a tanker trailer.
* Conduct thorough pre\-trip and post\-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
* Manage route driving efficiently, optimizing delivery schedules for timely arrivals at multiple destinations.
* **Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle inspections in compliance with federal regulations.**
* Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or any incidents encountered on the road.
* **Qualifications**
* Valid CDL A license with current Med Card and Tanker endorsement.
* Demonstrated experience in truck driving, including route driving and managing freight loads efficiently.
* Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks is essential.
* Prior experience with loading \& unloading tanker trailers.
* Knowledge of safety protocols related to freight handling, especially for liquid goods or hazardous materials like tankers.
* Ability to perform detailed vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs in accordance with DOT regulations.
