**SUMMARY:**
The person in this position works in the transportation field initially as a crew hauler, with the potential for advancement into a conductor or engineer position. Crew haulers transport employees and are accountable for safe driving and work practices.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Drive 2 – 3 employees from depot to train and train to depot.
* Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage maintenance
* Communicate with customers and connecting carriers
* Assist with other projects and perform other duties as assigned
**REQUIRED SKILLS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:**
* Ability to work in a 24/7 work environment with exposure to outside weather conditions
* Basic knowledge of mechanics and vehicle maintenance
**REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR CREDENTIALS:**
* High school diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
* One year of work experience or equivalent training; two years of experience in a 24/7 work environment with exposure to outside weather conditions preferred
* Valid driver’s license in good standing.
