Intern, Early Careers Analyst This is a full-time summer internship lasting from May 11, 2026, until August 28, 2026. Job Summary This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to CN’s Early Careers Strategy, specifically the structure and effectiveness of CN’s Internships—the foundation of our early talent pipeline. Working closely with the Senior Manager, the intern will analyze and evaluate key program components, including school partnerships, sponsorships, and recruitment events, to support CN in attracting more than 150 interns annually. The role combines strategic analysis, research, and hands-on support in executing high-impact initiatives that shape CN’s future talent landscape. Main Responsibilities Partnership School Analysis Conducts a comprehensive review of school partners and academic programs that supply candidates for CN internships. Evaluates alignment between CN’s talent needs and the programs offered by partner institutions. Sponsorship, Partnerships Event Evaluation Reviews and assesses the performance and ROI of current sponsorships, partnerships, and campus initiatives. Evaluates recruitment events using metrics such as brand visibility, inclusion objectives, lead quality, and application conversion. Strategic Recommendations Synthesizes findings into a proposed strategic framework aimed at optimizing CN’s Early Careers partnerships, investments, and campus engagement efforts. Presents recommendations that support long term program growth, inclusion goals, and talent outcomes. Execution Support Collaborates with the Early Careers team to support ongoing implementation activities related to recruitment, branding, events, and partnership management. Assists with research, content development, reporting, and meeting preparation to advance the overall strategy. Requirements Experience Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret and synthesize data. Excellent communication and presentation capabilities, including professional writing skills. Bilingual: fluent in English and French (spoken and written). Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Planner. Comfort using AI tools to support research, analysis, and productivity. Knowledge of data analytics tools or languages (Python, R, SQL) considered an asset. Education/Certification/Designation Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
