Centralia College is on a 30\-acre campus of modern buildings set among walking paths, lawns, and native plantings just a few blocks from the heart of Centralia, Washington. The college has served students in the Lewis County region since 1925 and is the oldest continuously operating community college in Washington State. The city of Centralia is a historic railroad and river shipping hub with a vibrant downtown and railway station.

**Job Description**

Helps to provide a warm, well lit, inviting atmosphere inside and outside of the classrooms and buildings in support of the overall mission of Centralia College to improve peoples' lives through lifelong learning.
This position reports to the Director of Maintenance and performs a variety of semi\-skilled maintenance duties requiring a limited knowledge of various trade skills such as carpentry, electrical, painting etc. Positions may work either independently in routine maintenance assignments, or under the technical direction of a journey worker.
**Duties and Responsibilities**

* Maintenance, operation, and repair of minor electrical, mechanical, and structural systems of buildings and grounds.
* May assist journey trades workers by performing duties related to carpentry, painting, dry wall, plumbing, mechanical or electrical work, refrigeration maintenance, etc.
* Operate hand tools, powers tools and other shop equipment used in the trade shops with a minimum of supervision. May operate automotive equipment to transport materials and su...
