These ranges reflect what BNSF Railway reasonably expects to pay for this position, based on the roleās level, scope, and responsibilities. Final compensation and position level will be determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay and bonus eligibility, BNSF offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Key responsibilitie

Supervise
a team responsible for the administration of FMLA, MLOA, and other types of leave while ensuring compliance with BNSF policy and Federal Regulations.
Development
of internal administration processes of leaves to ensure accuracy, efficiency and high levels of customer service.
Administer
Short-Term and Long-Term Disability programs at BNSF.
Work
with internal customers, leaders and legal counsel to address FMLA and MLOA questions, concerns, and daily administration.
Stay current
on evolving federal, state, and local leave legislation, ensuring timely implementation of required policy or process updates to maintain compliance.

Basic Qualifications:
Ā
Able to work in the US without company sponsorship now AND in the future.Ā
Minimum of five years of experience in human resources, or a related field.
Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Superior customer service skills in responding to inquiries from all levels of employees and customers.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work independently and as a team player.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to administer programs while staying compliant with state and federal laws.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Management, Computer Science related degree or similar field preferred
1-2 years experience working with Employee Leave Programs such as FMLA and Medical Leaves strongly preferred
Experience leading and managing a team.
