FLSA\-exempt**Summary of the Position:** The Operations Superintendent reports to the Executive Director and oversees train and engine service employees, mechanical employees, roadway maintenance crews, and assigned volunteers. The position is based at the NCR Train Station, 2 West Main Street, New Freedom, PA 17349\. The position is full\-time. Pay is based on an annual salary and is FLSA\-exempt. Regular working hours for this position are Thursday through Monday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Schedule flexibility is frequently available or required. A valid driver’s license is required for this position. The Operations Superintendent will be responsible for the safe and efficient operations of NCR trains. This involves the management of all aspects of NCR operations to provide a superior guest experience. This position involves the oversight of employees as well as hands on work. The Operations Superintendent will support the mission of NCR by communicating in a professional and positive manner with stakeholders, keeping equipment and grounds in a clean, presentable condition, and providing outstanding service. This is a working manager role.
