Your future starts here.   PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The Specialist IS Service Management Platform (ServiceNow Developer) will be a core member of the Service Management team who will work with our business partners to deliver business values in the area of workflow optimization and automation using the ServiceNow platform and its many modules (ITSM, ITOM, SPM, SecOps, etc.) though projects and sustainment activities.   POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES: Assist in development, testing, and documentation of customer solutions that fit the requirements gathered during the intake process Enable integrations between other IS systems and ServiceNow and ensure proper monitoring, governance, and documentation is in place for all such integrations Maintain implementer certification for one key ServiceNow module (ITSM, ITOM, etc.) along with Developer or Admin certification Perform daily support tasks (break/fix, patches, upgrades, etc.) on ServiceNow and ensure they are clearly documented and tracked in ITSM records (Incidents, changes, problems, and requests) Participate in daily scrums and communicate progress and challenges with team members on a daily basis as part of an Agile development team Analyze complex situations/problems and begin formulating potential solutions Test and validate new solution designs to ensure they address the situation or problem presented   POSITION REQUIREMENTS: University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent   Minimum of 4 years’ experience developing, supporting, and maintaining ServiceNow platform Experience in the design and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, SPM, Security Operations, Service Catalog, and Automation Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) procedures   WHAT CPKCKC HAS TO OFFER: Flexible and competitive benefits package Competitive company pension plan Employee Share Purchase Plan Performance Incentive Program Annual Fitness Subsidy Part-time Studies Program   PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:   Background Investigation Criminal history check Education verification Professional references   BECOMING A RAILROADER: As an employee with a North American presence, the possibility does exist that the location of your position may be changed based on organizational requirements.   Management Conductor Program Becoming a qualified conductor or locomotive engineer is the single best way for a management employee to learn the business at CPKCKC.
