### **Strategic Account Manager**
Sales Division \| Woodridge, IL \| Hybrid, Full\-Time
**Position Summary**
The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for driving sustainable growth with a portfolio of assigned accounts by cultivating deep strategic partnerships, identifying and capturing expansion opportunities, and leading cross\-functional efforts to deliver high\-value customer solutions. This role serves as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for senior client stakeholders, aligning Radiant Road \& Rail capabilities with each customer’s evolving supply chain needs.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Account Management \& Growth**
* Maintain and develop relationships with established accounts, with a focus on deepening partnerships and consistently expanding revenue, volume, and margin.
* Serve as a trusted advisor to customers’ senior and middle management, delivering ideas, strategies, and transportation solutions that create clearly defined value.
* Proactively identify and pursue cross\-sell opportunities across Radiant divisions and service lines.
* Represent the Company at industry events, transportation associations, and networking forums.
**Solution Development \& Proposal**
* Lead cross\-functional efforts – including logistics service partners – in evaluating customer requirements and designing tailored solution options.
* Develop and deliver compelling, detail\-rich proposals and presentations that articulate the business case for Radiant services.
* Leverage strong business case analysis and consultative selling skills to convert qualified opportunities into long\-term client relationships.
* Clearly identify current and future customer needs and present relevant transportation solutions that address them.
**Internal Collaboration**
* Build strong working relationships with internal teams critical to customer success, including IT, Operations, Pricing, Accounting, and Finance.
* Contribute input to senior management on the development of corporate and divisional strategic goals, including volume, margin, and revenue targets.
* Support the development and execution of Radiant Road \& Rail’s long\-term strategic vision.
* Perform other duties and assignments as required.
**Qualifications**
**Education \& Industry Knowledge**
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Logistics, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is a strong asset.
* Minimum 3 years of account management experience; experience in Transportation and Logistics preferred.
* Comprehensive understanding of the North American transportation industry, including domestic and cross\-border highway, intermodal, and logistics.
* Strong knowledge of IT\-based, end\-to\-end supply chain solutions management.
**Technical Skills**
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
