**Description:**
A transload operator will work on a crew unloading/loading a variety of dry bulk commodities. The products are loaded/unloaded from railcars, trucks and trailers. Once unloaded the product is stored in flat houses. An individual on this crew will operate multiple pieces of equipment from front end loaders, skidsteer loaders, railcar movers, front end loaders, etc.
**Responsibilities/Duties:**
To safely transfer product on or off trucks, trailers and railcars. Perform other facility duties when not transloading product.
· Move and position railcars for unloading/loading.
· Operate conveying systems.
· Communicate with other crew members.
· Stack products neatly on storage slabs or in flat houses.
· Load products into trucks and railcars.
· Clean facility when not performing transloading duties.
· Document unloading, loading and cleaning activities.
· Perform preventative maintenance on facility and equipment.
**Physical Requirements:**
This job is mostly operating equipment. An operator will need to be able to climb ladders at a height of 2’\-25’ and lift approximately 50lbs. Communication is to be completed both written and verbal. Production personnel can sit for much of a shift in equipment, or be walking and climbing. Facility sizes vary from 5\-62 acres and can require extensive walking throughout the shift.
**Shift Times:**
Each shift varies from 8\-12 hours per day, 6 days per week. In some instances, a 7th day will be requested to work to accommodate rail or production demands.
Pay: $15\.50 per hour
