**Transportation Dispatcher Supervisor** The Transportation Supervisor manages daily load planning for (6 to 8\) trucks and drivers, along with ensuring superior customer service to several shippers. This position is responsible for the day\-to\-day effective coordination of a fleet of trucks, trailers, and drivers. The Transportation Supervisor will solicit business from shippers, brokers and Load Boards; book business and make daily plans for picking up the freight from customer shipping locations. This position will enter customer orders into the Transportation Management System (TMS). This position will need to provide superior service to the customers to maintain the business with the customers, with the intent to grow the business. The Transportation Supervisor will need to track customer service levels, maintain accurate trailer pool information at customer sites, be aware of driver schedules and be able to problem solve. We strive to build a high\-performance culture that brings together talented employees driven to always improve their skills and grow with the company. **Position Summary:** Directs and supervises the drivers and administrative associates of the transportation operations with a focus on safety and efficiency. **Responsibilities:** * Schedule trucks, trailers and drivers daily. * Keep customers informed about ETA's and service levels. * Be able to make decisions in daily planning process to include problem solving and having to make alternate plans as needed. * Ability to multi\-task between planning, securing business and providing customer service. * Spot Market Rates with Broker Negotiation. * Become proficient with the Transportation Management System (TMS) to navigate and use the system efficiently. **Qualifications:** * Ability to solve problems in a fast\-paced environment. * Understand DOT regulations and hours of service rules and ability to incorporate the rules (will train). * Support a culture of “can do” attitude to enhance team efforts toward continuous improvement, maximize utilization of the fleet and superior customer service. * After\-hours availability for on\-call and/or as issues/needs arise. **Job Type: Full Time** **Location: Wilkes\-Barre (Laflin) Main Office** **Base Hours: Day Shift (M\-F) 8 AM \- 4:30 PM** **Pay: $23\.00 \- $25\.00 Per Hour** **Benefits: Family Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurances; Short Term Disability, Life, Accidental Death and Dismemberment; 401K Plan Company Match; Paid Time Off (PTO).** Job Type: Full\-time Pay: $23...
